Hyderabad, January 05: (Siasat News) President of YSR Congress Mr. Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy told that on behalf of his party. Dharna is being organized at District Collectorates because Govt. is trying to withdraw this scheme. He said that last year, a student, Ms. Varalakshmi committed suicide for not paying the fees.
He had organized a seven day programme in Hyderabad to pressurize the Govt. He also said that today the same situation is prevailing in the state. With the number of students participating in the programme, it was known that Govt. is depriving many students from fees reimbursement & scholarship schemes. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy told a lie in the Assembly about fees reimbursement scheme. He further said that Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy had initiated this scheme to facilitate the poor students to get higher education.
