YSR Congress to declare Telangana at Plenary

Rajahmundry, July 4: YSR Congress official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu has said that the party would announce its decision on the issues including Telangana and SC classification during party’s plenary session, scheduled to be held on July 8 and 9 at Idupulapaya.
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Ambati said the party would pass its resolutions on issues of separate statehood to Telangana and SC classification after in-depth discussions in its plenary session.
With the Congress-led Union government delaying its decision on the separate statehood to Telangana, he said, the state has been put into unstability and deep trouble.
The YSR leader also said that there was no strong leader in the Congress party in state after the demise of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. It is evident from many Congress leaders are leaving the party and joining YSR Congress, he said.
Answering to a question on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) coming to power again, he said that there was no future of the TDP in the state.
MLA Pilli Subashchandra Bose, party district convener Kudipudi Chittabbayi, city convener Bommana Rajkumar, governing board member Jakkampudi Vijaya Lakshmi, TKV Reddy and others were also present in the media conference.
