Senior Congress leader and MP Mr. G. Sukhender Reddy alleged that YSR Congress Party and CPI (M) have joined together and hatched a conspiracy to stop the formation of separate Telangana State. CPI (M) is engaged in forming an alliance with YSRCP for its vested interest.
Talking to newsmen, Mr. Sukhender Reddy targeted the policies of CPI (M) and said that CPI (M) always criticizes other political parties on the grounds of moral values but it is joining hands with Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy who is involved in financial irregularities. He further said that in certain circles, CPI (M) is known as a principled party which struggles against injustices and for the public cause but now it seems that it is joining hands with YSRCP to fight next elections.
Mr. Reddy pointed out that on the one hand CPI (M) declared that it will not create hurdles in the formation of Telangana but on the other hand, State Secretary of CPI (M) Mr. B.V. Raghavulu is making statements against Telangana. He demanded Mr. Raghavulu to clarify his stand on Telangana and said that CPI (M) had given a letter that it has no objection for the formation of Telangana but now it is opposing the formation of separate State which is not appropriate.
