YSR Congress Party today lambasted opposition TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged remarks against its honosary President Y S Vijayamma on parenting. Party’s official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here that Mr Naidu had ‘no moral right to speak of family values and human relations.’ ‘A person who had backstabbed his father-in-law N T Rama Rao to usurp power was now speaking about family and parenting.
This is ridiculous,’ he charged. Taking strong objection to the remarks, Mr Naidu allegedly made against Ms Vijayamma on parenting, he said the former Chief Minister has sent his son to US for studying under-graduate course with the help of a sponsor. He declared that his mother had five acres of land in Hyderabad and it was gifted to his son Lokesh. This is nothing but an eye wash and to evade tax, Mr Ramababu said.
Giving a new meaning to Naidu’s trademark V-sign, Mr Ambati sarcastically said the V-sign is a message which Mr Naidu is giving to people that he was rejected twice by the people for his wrong priorities and anti-farmer stand. YSR Congress Party candidate in Nellore, N Prasanna Kumar Reddy, during his campaign at Kovur, said Mr Naidu should not resort to personal attacks on YSR family members. ‘You are a dwarf before Ms Vijayamma and it is better you keep off from personal attacks in the campaign,’ Mr Prasanna Kumar Reddy warned Mr Naidu.
