A youth, who had shot dead a girl after she turned down his marriage proposal, has been remanded in 14-day judicial custody by a court here.
26-year-old Utsawa had killed the 25-year-old girl, whose marriage was fixed with another man, after she turned down his proposal on Wednesday.
Judicial Magistrate Mithali Govind Rao yesterday remanded Utsawa in judicial custody till December 20.
