Abids police arrested a Muslim Youth for a theft case and injured him by beating him severely. He fell unconscious. He is being treated in Osmania General Hospital.
It is said that Ikram was arrested on the basis of a complaint of theft lodged by the owner of Udaynath Mobile Store. In the footage of CCTV, some other person is shown not Ikram. It is understood that police is working under the pressure from the shop owner.
Receiving this information, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid, MBT Corporator of Azampura Municipal Division went to Osmania General Hospital and lodged his protest on the action taken by the police.
