Hapur: A youth committed suicide during a marriage function at Chhapkauli village, under Babugarh police station limits. Family members secretly performed the last rites without informing the police. However, on receipt of information from other sources, police reached the place and began an investigation.
According to the report published in Rashtriya Roznama Sahara, a marriage function was going on at 8 am in the family of Narendra, a resident of Chhapkauli. Meanwhile, Narendra’s son Deepak had a row with his cousins on some matter. Later Deepak went into a room and shot himself dead.
On hearing the sound of the bullet, family members and guests ran towards the room only to find Deepak drenched in blood. His last rites were performed in a hurry.
