A youth was today arrested for allegedly sneaking into girls’ hostel of a government college here and molesting a student while she was asleep, police said.
Ram Prasad, who was employed at the college mess and resided at the institution’s premises, entered into girl’s
dormitory last night and molested a student while she was asleep, they said.
The student raised an alarm when she found the accused hiding under her bed. Rest of the girls joined in beating up
the youth and then locked him inside a hostel room for the entire night.
The matter was reported in the morning, following which Prasad was arrested, police said.
