The second Aalami Jashn-e-Khusro hosted by the All India Markazi Majlis Chishtia was held on November 22 to 24. Maulana Muzaffar Ali Sufi, Sajjada Nasheen Dargah Shaikh Ji Hali Abul Alai, Urdu Shareef Pathargatti was the convenor. Various events were held in the 3-day celebration. Various artists presented the poetry of Ameer Khusro on music. Mr. Mohammed Mahmood Ali Deputy chief Minister of Telangana state attended as chief guest. Anurag Sharman Director General of Police, Joint Commissioner of Police, Deputy High Commissioner of Great Britain, Khaja Shahed Pro-Vice Chancellor MANUU, Syed Shahed Mehdi ex-VC Jamia Milia Islamia were the honourary guests. Delegations of the country and abroad including Prof. Shareef Hasan Qasmi, Prof. Bahzaad Fatimi, Prof. Aqueel Hashmi, Prof. Rekha Pande, Prof. Alekhya, Prof. Sunaina Singh, Vice chancellor English and Foreign Language University, Prof. Y Sudarshan Rao presented papers on Ameer Khusro.
