Hyderabad, July 7: When the Telangana Congress leaders following their resignation met Union finance minister Mr. Pranabh Mukherji he reprimanded them saying “High commanded is landed into trouble, as you sowed, so you reap, now the decision is not in our hands but has reached in the authority of speaker, go and get ready for bye-elections.”
Highly placed sources told that high command is resented with Telangana leaders as 45 members of Congress including state ministers and 10 members of parliament resigned.
Elected representatives of Congress from Telangana had announced on July 1 to resign from their post on July 4. Union minister of health and incharge Andhra Pradesh Congress was then in Hyderabad. He didn’t even bother to talk to leaders who were going to resign.
A delegation of Telangana leaders on Wednesday met Mr. Pranabh Mukheji on which Pranabh Mukherji rapped them saying that there is no option left for negotiation. He told to Congress leaders “MLAs and MPs of TDP, TRS, CPI, BJP and PRP have also resigned after your resignation. We cannot advise speaker to accept or reject the resignations since all the resignations are given in speaker format rules and regulations. Now the ball is in speaker’s court.
