Yogi’s call for reservation in AMU aims at polarisation of votes: opposition

Aligarh: Opposition made an attack on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his call for the reservation for Dalits and other backward castes in Aligarh Muslim University and said Yogi Adityanath has made such statement in view of the elections to polarise votes.

District President Congress Chaudhry Bijender Singh said as the Lok Sabha elections are around the corner, BJP is raising Jinnah and reservation issue in AMU. It only aims at polarisation and dividing Hindu Muslim votes.

BSP district president Tilak Raj said BJP doesn’t need to show concern for SC, ST because everyone knows its intention that it just want to create conflict between Hindus and Muslims.
