New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to campaign for the Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday. His five meetings are scheduled in the capital on Saturday.
Adityanath will address public meetings in Karawal Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Narela, Rohini and Badli areas. In addition, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will address the gathering in Dwarka and Uttam Nagar. While BJP President J.P. Nadda will address ”nukkad sabhas” in Sadar Bazar, Chawdi Bazar and Karol Bagh.
Similarly, Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari will address public meetings in Laxmi Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Vishwas Nagar and Shahdara. Union ministers Prakash Javadekar and Shyam Jaju will also hold two meetings in the national capital.
Significantly, Adityanath will address 12 meetings in the city.
On Sunday, he will address public meetings in Hari Nagar and Harikesh Nagar besides attending an event at Delhi Haat.
Adityanath”s rallies will be held at places where there is good number of Purvanchali voters.
Among the Bharatiya Janata Party”s star campaigners, Adityanath is named fifth after Prime Minister Modi, Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh.
There are around 30 lakh Purvanchali people in Delhi who have voting rights here. The BJP wants to oraganise more meetings of Adityanath to woo this vote bank.
