Yogesh Shrivastav donated blood for 108 times

Mr. Yogesh Shrivastav a resident of Old City has so far donated his blood for 108 times. He has been donating blood for the past 30 years. He actively participates in free blood donation camp. He told that he belongs to a very poor family. He studied sitting under the streetlight since his house did not have any electrical connection. To a question put to him as to how did he get the idea of donating blood, he said that when he came out of a blood donation camp held at Vivek Vardhani School, he felt a great change in him and he was proud of donating blood. He then started donating blood thrice a year. He is fifty years old. He also persuades his family members to donate blood. The officials of Guinness Book of World Records have taken the details and it is likely that his name will be included in it. He got awards right from the local councilor, CM, PM and President of India. He was born on 12th February 1964 and started social service which he still continues. He has finished his Ph.D. work also recently. He has written a will for donating his body organs to the needy patients after his death.
