Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav on Wednesday welcomed the decision of Political Affairs Committee (PAC) to expand the party’s base at the national front.
“I am happy and satisfied as now we are focusing on correct issues and I welcome the decision of PAC,” said Yadav.
Earlier in the day, AAP leader Sanjay Singh made it clear that his party would expand its base, saying Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ‘s focus on Delhi does not mean that the party won’t work at the national front.
Singh, who is a member of the PAC, had earlier tweeted that the AAP will expand and that the volunteers would have a role in decision-making.
“AAP will expand, colleagues will get responsibilities in states, volunteers will have a role in decision-making,” he wrote on twitter.
The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to go national and contest the elections in other states.
Earlier on Tuesday, AAP’s Political Affairs Committee had met at Kejriwal’s residence following which the decision was taken to go national and to enroll active volunteers. (ANI)
