Ms. Tahniyath Athar, President of Muslim Girls Association in a press statement issued yesterday appealed to the parents not to send their children to schools on 21st June since the Muslims of India have agreed that Yoga and Surya Namaskar are sins. It is the duty of the Minorities managed schools not to celebrate Yoga Day on 21st June. It is very wrong to find similarities between Yoga and Namaz. Namaz is an Islamic worship whereas Yoga is a physical exercise based on Hindu philosophy, both cannot be similar.
