Kohima, April 03:The annual meeting of the ‘Young Indians’ (YI) was held in Dimapur yesterday to provide a unique platform for the youth, with the theme ‘Bridging the Future’.
The YI is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and continues to be an unique platform for young Indians to realise the dreams of a developed nation.
The meeting said it is the only forum in the country focusing on young progressive Indians between the age group of 25 and 40 years.
It comprises professionals and progressive achievers from different walks of life, such as entrepreneurs, farmers, managers, leaders and students.
The function was attended by a good number of youths.
Nagaland Minister for Health and Family Welfare Kuzholüzo Nienu, the Secretary Tourism Art and Culture Himato Zhimomi and Managing Director Window Media Ao Toshi spoke on the challenges and future prospects of the upcoming Indian generation and also expressed equal concerns over global warming at the meeting.
