Yet another charge against CM by Revanth

Levelling charges of favoritism of the TRS government, TDP Telangana working president A Revanth Reddy today alleged that the height of Pamulaparti reservoir has been cut down to save the lands of Kaveri Seeds owned by one of close relatives of Chief Minister KCR.

Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan, the TDP leader said Pamulaparti irrigation reservoir’s capacity height was decreased to 7 tmc from 21 tmc just to save the lands of KCR’s relative. Revanth Reddy said he has all evidence to prove his allegation and dared KCR to file case against him as the Chief Minister has stated recently. “Is it not a corrupt practice to decrease the height of reservoir to save lands of KCR’s relative?, Revanth Reddy asked

The State government was not at all bothered about the problems of Mallannasagar project victims, who have been agitating for the last six month stating that 21,000 acres of land and 14 villages would be inundated. Revanth Reddy said the Assembly session should be held for at least 15 days. The GST Bill should be rectified by the Assembly and there should be a discussion on MoU signed with Maharashtra government besides drought situation and waiving of farmers loans. The party would coordinate with all parties to mount pressure on the government, he said. (NSS)
