Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi has blamed Iran for destabilizing the country saying that Houthi rebels are “stooges of Iran”.
According to BBC, correspondents said that the conflict is a proxy war between Sunnu Arab nations and Shia Iran .
Hadi’s statement came at an Arab League summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, days after having to flee Yemen as rebels advanced on his stronghold of Aden.
Yemeni Foreign Minister Riad Yassin said that he planned to stay overseas until the situation settled. (ANI)
