IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today said that the TRS is emerging as a strong and unrivaled political party in the state of Telangana with Andhra Parties are vanishing from the state. Andhra Party YCP has vanished from Telangana state with YCP MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and its MLA Payam Venkateshwarlu joining the TRS. The YCP has disappeared from the state and Telugu Desam will also go astray he stated.
Talking to reporters after visiting Srinivas Reddy’s home in Khammam he said that the TRS will strengthen itself in the district and in the state with duo joining their party fold. He expressed confidence that the TRS will repeat a landslide victory in Palair bye-poll. He made it clear he came to welcome them in the ruling party fold and vowed to develop Khammam on par with other cities and towns. Already Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced some sops to the district to witness a rapid growth as minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao is set to win the byepoll and focus on the growth, he said.(NSS)
