YSR Congress Party leader MV Mysoora Reddy today lambasted that the TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, made many promises but kept none in Andhra Pradesh State.
Talking in a meeting held on “Rayalaseema- Right for new capital” at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendra here, Reddy said that Naidu is not in a position to anything good for the state. Naidu is to take much pain to build a new capital, but the state may not witness better financially. He expressed concern that the TDP Government could not keep its promise on crop loan waiver as the RBI is reluctant to accept to its proposal. Instead the apex bank seems to be ready to reschedule it which is of no use, he felt. He ridiculed Naidu for his statement that the new capital will be build on par with Singapore. While Singapore is spread in 740 km land mass, there is no land in AP now, he deplored. He alleged that the State Government is indulging in an irresponsible manner by giving false statements confusing people. At this juncture of new state which is yet to get its capital, the government should focus on key issues, he suggested. We being the Opposition will constructive suggestions to the government for speedy development, he said adding that the former should go in tandem with all other parties with regard to taking a final call on new capital.
