Patna, May 04: As the Elections in Bihar are scheduled for this Year the Yatra and Rath Yatra war seems to have hotten up.Every political party wanting to outdo each other

After the completion of first phase of Nitish Kumar`s “Vishwas Yatra” (march to seek people’s confidence) last Sunday.Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad has planned one for himself to expose the government’s failures before the October-November assembly poll from mid-may to counter the chief minister with a “Bhandaphor Yatra” (march to expose the state government). Nitish Kumar`s Yatra started from West Champaran this Thursday, the Janata Dal (United) will be undertaking no less than seven such “yatras,” with the aim of wooing every caste and community in the state. This is the fifth time that the CM has gone on yatra.

Previoulsy, he had undertaken Nyay Yatra, Vikas Yatra, Dhanyawad Yatra and Pravas Yatra.

RJD leader, Shakeel Ahmad Khan said “Lalu Prasad will present the real situation before people during his march,” Lalu Prasad has termed Nitish Kumar’s march as his last bid to say goodbye to people before his imminent ouster in the coming election. However, the ruling Janata Dal-United’s state president Vijay Kumar Chowdhary said that Nitish Kumar’s march was successful due to tremendous public response.

The Ruling Janata Dal-United has planned Yatras and Rath yatras for lamost every cast and section of the society.The second Yatra will be The “Karpoori Rath”, named after the erstwhile Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur, will be launched with the purpose of reinforcing the positive work done by the government in the minds of the extremely backward communities (EBCs) followed by Dr. Bhim Singh’s (a RJD defactor) “Dhanyavad Yatra” to thank the CM Nitish Kumar.Next to follow will be the “Aman Yatra,” specifically targeted at the Muslim population of the state with the aim to remind them of the riot-free atmosphere in the state.

The Next genre to be wooed is women and a specific Yatra for the called “Swavlamban (Self-reliance) yatra”, dedicated to highlight their uplift during the last four and a half years followed by the “Nirbhay Rath” targeted at the Vaishya (Bania)

The Congress has also launced its Parivartan yatra which started in Feburary in the state.
