Hyderabad: Ridiculing Harish Rao’s statement that politicians should retire when the people love them, AICC secretary Madhu Yashki Goud has alleged that the former was enacting dramas. He said Harish Rao made the statement only to unite disgruntled leaders in the TRS against caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Yashki also threw a challenge at MP B Vinod Kumar to come for a debate on the role of Congress in the creation of separate Telangana State. He alleged that Vinod was speaking against AICC general secretary Gulam Nabi Azad forgetting the facts.
Doesn’t Vinod know the fact of according Telangana State by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi after recognizing sacrifices of the Telangana people?, he asked.
