Yami, Athiya dazzle on LMIFW ramp

New Delhi: Bollywood actors Yami Gautam, Tabu, Athiya Shetty and Prachi Desai turned muse for various designers at the third day of Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week 2018 (LMIFW).

The theme of the fashion show that took place on October 13 was ‘Tribes of the World’.

Yami walked the ramp for WNW, Tabu for Sanjukta Dutta, Prachi for Architha Narayam and Athiya for Poshpride.

Tabu looked beautiful in Assamese silk ensemble. The ‘Andhadhun’ star drifted down the ramp looking regal adorning with a signature Mekhela Chador in lusciously deep-toned Assamese silk handcrafted with delicate Kolki (paisley) motifs in a variety of colourful threads.

Bringing the fearless culture alive, Yami presented a slice of tribal fashion and graced the runway as a traditional Indian bride. She wore a red lehenga with undertones of orange that were intricately embroidered with detailing inspired by Kashmiri and Victorian cultures.

The designers brought alive their interpretation and love for nature using a combination of some rich quality fabrics with unique tulip embroidery.

LMIFW kickstarted with a lot of excitement and much-awaited shows by some of the biggest names in the business, international star designers, and many celebrities who took the ramp for a clutch of designers.
