‘XO Music Fest’ in Antioch cancelled

Washington: The XO Music Festival, which was scheduled to be held this weekend in Antioch, has been cancelled amid mounting questions over the lack of preparations by the organizers.

The organizers of the event posted a statement on their website that reads, “we are deeply disappointed to have to announce that due to lower than anticipated ticket sales and in part due to the fact that there were some negative media reports targeting us, with which we strongly disagree. The XO Music Festival scheduled to occur on July 13 will be postponed to another time to be announced at a future date.”

Meanwhile, the Antioch Police Department stated that it had received a number of complaints and concerns regarding the fest, reported Variety.

The fest was to feature American rapper T.I and Ludacris. (ANI)
