Hyderabad, September 20: Mr. Venkatanarayana filed a Public Interest Litigation Petition in A.P.High Court pleading that the strike of Govt. employees is illegal.
This petition has been filed in connection with the employees’ strike to support the cause of Telangana. The petitioner pleaded that the strike is in violation of Supreme Court ruling.
Hearing this petition, A.P. High Court issued notices to TRS President Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao and JAC convener Prof. Kondandarama Reddy.
The petition claimed that the employees have no right to go on strike. This strike has paralysed the functioning of the state affairs completely.
