Writ petition filed against YSR, Dharmana adjourned to Sept 9

Hyderabad, August 18: A division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court today adjourned to September 9 the writ petition filed by P Ashok Gajapathi Raju of the Telugu Desam Party against the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao on the surrender of Idupulapaya lands by Rajasekhara Reddy.

The petitioner mainly contended that acquistion of assigned lands also is punishable and by merely surrendering, the Chief Minister cannot go scot free.

The bench preferred to hear the matter afresh on September 9 to decide whether the writ petition can be entertained or not.
