Wounded 9-yr-old boy dies in hospital

Hyderabad, April 27: A boy who was found in a pool of blood at Neredmet under mysterious circumstances on April 22 died in the wee hours of today while undergoing treatment at Gandhi hospital.

V Raju (9) alias Rajesh was found on the top of an under construction building owned by one Suvarna at Neredmet on April 22.

Raju’s parents alleged that Raju was killed by the family members of Suvarna and that it was a case of human sacrifice. Raju’s father Nagaraju alleged that Cyberabad police colluded with Suvarna’s family and were not arresting the accused.

Raju went missing from his house on April 21 night when he went to purchase detergent from a nearby grocery. His parents said they made a vain search for Raju all through the night. But the next day morning Raju was found in a pool of blood by Mallesh, watchman of the building.

Neredmet police said they have quizzed Survarna and her two sons – Shiva Kumar and Ravi Kumar and a case under Section 302 of the IPC was registered against them based on the complaint made by the victim’s parents. However, police said that they did not find any concrete evidence to prove that it was a case of human sacrifice as alleged by Raju’s family.
