Hyderabad, September 2: Thousands of worshipers faced difficulty for performing ablution, despite elaborate arrangements at Eidgah Meeralam, thanks to the negligence of water board. The worshipers faced trouble when the water stopped coming from the taps. When the water board officials were contacted it was told that the problem occurred as the water pump suddenly stopped.
Hundreds of worshipers were seen using drinking water packets for performing ablution while thousands of worshipers were seen heading for Meeralam tank to perform ablution.
It must be noticed that the people faced difficulty owing to water board negligence despite the fact that Minority Welfare Ministry had directed the department to arrange for ablution water.
