The spire on top of the new 1 World Trade Center has made it the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.
According to the New York Daily News, the spire is reaching a symbolic 1,776 feet.
The three billion dollar project reaches 105 floors, about the same height as the original North Tower.
The building has surpassed the height of Chicago’s Willis Tower, formerly known as the Sears Tower, to become the tallest building in America. (ANI)
