New Delhi: It has been a year since legendary actress Sridevi passed away and the world is still mourning the loss of India’s first female superstar. The Bollywood star tragically passed away at the age of 54 due to accidental drowning in a bathtub of her hotel room in Dubai.
However, celebritities and netizens alike took to Twitter to remember the iconinc actress with many using #SrideviLivesForever turning it viral.
Taking to social media, Sridevi’s daughter Jahnvi Kapoor, posted a touching trivute to the lat actress on Sridevi’s first death anniversary.
Jahnvi shared a picture and captioned it, “My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it.”
The photo shows her hands clasped in those of her mum Sridevi’s.
Not only her, veteran actor Shabana Azmi too paid tribute to her on Twitter.
Azmi wrote, “A year already .. #Sridevi . You will live on through your work ..”
Shekhar Kapoor too took to Twitter and wrote, “Still can’t get over that this bundle of life, of energy, of love, left us when she has so much much more to give @SrideviBKapoor @SrideviKapoor.”
Farah Khan took to Instagram and shared an image with the caption, “When i was just starting out in my career She was so supportive, so encouraging.. getting to Choreograph a Sridevi show or a song for her was like a dream.. no wonder I never got awed or starstruck with any other star in my entire career because I started frm the TOP! Not only celebrities, others too remembered the actor on her first death anniversary.
One user, Leena Goenka paid a poignant tribute by writing, “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.
