Rajiv Vidhya Mission State project officer V Usharani has stated that a day-long State-level workshop on the provisions of Right to Education Act of 2009 would be held on May 14 from 10 am.
In a pressnote here, Usharani stated that torture of school students physically and mentally was prohibited as per the Right to Education Act of 2009. The workshop was being held to bring awareness among all concerned. She stated that representatives of voluntary organizations, teachers associations, managements of private schools, professors, teachers, educationists and students will participate in the workshop to be held at Rajiv Vidhya Mission State Project Office on the premises of SCERT opposite Lal Bahadur Stadium here.
