Govt. of A.P. has constituted a working group to coordinate between A.P. and Chhattisgarh on various common matters. A decision was taken in the meeting of the CMs of A.P. and Chhattisgarh held on 22nd September to constitute a regular mechanism for coordinating issues of both the States pertaining to sea port, Roadways, Railways and Airways. This working group will also make an attempt to enhance cooperation in the fields of civilization and culture. This working group will function under the supervision of the Chief Secretaries of both the States. Govt. of A.P. nominated its Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to CM, Special Chief Secretary of Command Area Development , Special Chief Secretary of Environment, Forests, Science and Technology, Special Chief Secretary of Energy, Special Chief Secretary of Roads and Buildings and Principal Secretary of the Department of Culture. Govt. of Chhattisgarh will also nominate its officials for this working group. The date of the meeting of the working group will be decided with the mutual consent of the Chief Secretaries of both the States.
