It seems that immediately after the declaration of Telangana State MIM has changed its stand. Earlier MIM had taken stand to oppose the formation of Telangana State but now its leaders are telling that their party will extents its full corporation in the process. Political Analysts say that MIM leadership continuously opposed the formation of Telangana but immediately after the announcement of formation of separate Telangana MIM has realized the reality that the formation of Telangana is inevitable.
Speaking on the occasion of Youmul-Quran at Makkah Masjid yesterday, President of MIM, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi making a political speech told that whatever work he wanted to get it done from them he got it done. He further told that they did not understand his thoughts. He claimed that if he says it is day, you will say, it is night. You did the same work which I wanted, he said.
Political Pandith and those who have political awareness say that with the speech made by Mr. Owaisi in Makka Masjid , three things evolve. First one is that those who were opposing Telangana for the past 40 years, have realized now that they committed a major mistake by not supporting separate Telangana State. The second one is that in order to reprimand the mistake, Mr. Owaisi is now saying that what has happened now is what he wanted. It means that it was his wish to form a separate Telangana State. The people of the city have now started asking that Mr. Owaisi was opposing Telangana because it maximum benefit would go to BJP. At the press conference held on 31st July at MIM headquarter, he had strongly told that BJP is the only party which would get maximum benefit. In such a situation a section of society is justified in asking a question to him that whatever he said in Makka Majid that whatever he wanted they (Telangana Supporters and UPA-II) did it. It means that he wanted to see BJP stronger. Some people are asking Mr. Owaisi, did he wish BJP to be stronger?.During his address He repeatedly told that don’t teach us politics, we have been doing this for the past 55 years. Political Analyst opine that Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi termed the politics of MIM for the past 55 years as failure because his late father Mr. Salauddin Owaisi always used to say that a suitable decision would be taken on Telangana at the appropriate time. He was a far sighted politician of his time. Commenting on Mr. Owaisi’s address at Makka Masjid, some people are saying that political matter should not have been discussed in Makka Masjid. The Dept. of Minorities Welfare, while giving permission for addressing the meeting in Makka Masjid on the occasion of Jumatul-Vida, had imposed many conditions, one of which was that on the occasion of Youmul-Quran meeting no political matters would be discussed.
