Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy today exhorted the TRS leaders and activists to work together as soldiers to achieve Bangaru Telangana.
He was talking at the TRS workers extended meeting at Malkajgiri here attended by MP Malla Reddy, MLAs Sayanna, Kanaka Reddy, Sudhir Reddy, Vivekananda, M Krishna Rao, MLCs M Hanmantha Rao, S Raju, Mayor Rammohan and a large number of activists. The minister said the party workers should work like soldiers to support KCR to turn the State into Golden Telangana. “It is the time for extending support to the Chief Minister to make his dream come true”, he said.
The TRS Government was according top priority for welfare and development programs. “Our focus was on to help the poor and deprived classes to get benefit from various schemes to achieve the goal of inclusive growth. The TRS leaders and workers should take the schemes and programs to the door steps of the people and address their problems, he said. Mahender Reddy said, “KCR was aware of the leaders and workers, who played a key role in the second phase that fetched us the statehood”.
The Chief Minister will sure give them recognition and offer nominated posts. There was no need of despair among the workers, who will get due recognition in the party, he said. The minister claimed that marriage schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, pensions, the flagship Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha and industrial policy are being emulated by other States and got accolades from the Centre. He expressed hope welfare schemes will reach the genuine people and needy in the State. (NSS)
