Hyderabad, February 22: The day-to-day administration in all civic departments and district collectorates of Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts came to a standstill on Monday on the fourth day of the non-cooperation movement.
The JAC leaders and employees locked their offices and did not allow anybody to work.
Large number people who turned up to these offices were sent back by the agitating employees.
Some employees who tried to work were forcibly evicted from their offices and asked to participate in the non-cooperation movement.
The Water Board employees also skipped duties and participated in the relay hunger strike as part of non-cooperation.
A large number of women employees took part in the relay hunger strike on Monday.
Later they organised a Bathukamma festival at the head office.
The Hyderabad and Rangareddy collectorate too wore a deserted look and employees took part in the non-cooperation movement.
In HMDA too, the employees organised protest demonstrations and meetings demanding introduction of T bill in the parliament. They warned that the non-cooperation movement would continue till the bill is placed in the parliament.
They wore black badges and raised slogans against the state and Central governments.
