TS Irrigation minister Harish Rao said that the state government was committed to completing the Palamur Ettipotala project in time despite the resistance by the Opposition parties.
The minister who was in the district to review Lift Irrigation project at Muraridoddi village on Sunday said that the four under-construction projects in the district would be completed before the commencement of Kharif season. He said that Rs 3,600 crore would be spent to complete these projects. These projects would irrigate 4 lakh acres of land and the state government is committed to complete these projects in time, the minister stated. The minister also said that the farmers’ welfare was on the top of the government’s agenda and the same is being achieved through various projects in the state. (INN)
