MUMBAI: Days after praising Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone for her brilliant performance on a sensitive subject with Chhapaak, actress Kangana Ranaut gave an intense reaction on her visit to Jawaharlal Nehru University.
In a recent interview with Spotboye, Kangana was asked to comment on Deepika’s visit to JNU.
She said, “I definitely won’t go and stand behind the tukde gang for whatever happens. I don’t want to support anyone who divides this nation. I don’t want to give power or empower people in the nation who celebrate when a jawan dies. I don’t want to be with them. So, I can tell what I want but I don’t want to comment on what she should’ve done.”
Deepika visited JNU to express solidarity towards the students following the attacked by a masked mob.
She has received mixed reactions from both the political leaders as well as her colleagues in the Bollyood.
Kangana is currently prepping for the release of her upcoming film “Panga“. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film revolves around a mother (Kangana) who is also a Kabbadi player.
