Unidentified persons today murdered a woman and looted over 100 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs four lakh cash from a house in Palladam in nearby Tirupur District, polcie said.
The murder was noticed, when the husband of 40-year old Muthulakshmi, returned home around five pm, police said.
Totally 109 sovereign of jewels and Rs four lakh were missing from the house, they said.
