Two women from Khammam district have died in an attack by the Maoists on a police camp in Vemulvada under Sukuma district of the neighboring Chattisgarh state on Wednesday.
According to information, these women were identified as Koteswari (56) and Kumari (30) from Kunavaram village of Khammam district who were working there.
The women were injured when Maoists attacked the camp during the wee hours of Wednesday. They were rushed to a hospital and attended to. Still the two women succumbed to their injuries. (NSS)
