Muzaffarnagar: A 25-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death today by a neighbour for stealing mangoes from his orchard in Shamli area here, following which the accused has been arrested, police said.
Manju, wife of Amit Kumar, was stabbed to death by a neghbour over mango theft in Charan Singh locality, they said.
The accused entered into a verbal argument with the victim and beat up her husband, and when she tried to save him, he stabbed her, police said, adding the woman died on the spot.
A case was registered against four persons, while one Wasu was arrested, the other three Dablu, Papu and Bobby are absconding, they added.
