Muzaffarnagar: A 35-year-old woman was shot dead by her nephews over a property dispute at Gangeru village in neighbouring Shamli district, police said here today.
Puja was shot dead in her house in the district early this morning allegedly by Nitin and Vipin.
According to a complaint lodged by the victim’s son, the accused shot dead his mother when she was sleeping.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
The victim’s husband was murdered over the property dispute last year.
A case has been registered and hunt is on to nab the accused, police added
