Hyderabad: Kalapathar police arrested a salesman who sexually assaulted a woman on pretext of marrying her. According got sources 25-year-old, Mohammed Imran, R/O Kalapathar met a 23-year-old, divorcee, a beautician, at a function in 2016. They developed friendship. Imran has been keeping relationship with the woman for the past one year on the pretext of marrying her.
On April 24, he called the woman at his friend’s residence located at Nawab Saheb Kunta, Kalapathar for talking about marriage. Taking advantage of his friend and his family’s absence, he raped the woman and fled.
Woman informed her parents about the incident on which her parents contacted Imran and requested him to marry the woman but he blatantly refused and asked the woman to go away from there.
The victim lodged a complaint with Kalapathar police station, following which Shaikh Imran was arrested and shifted to jail.
