A day after a 23-year-old woman was allegedly set ablaze by a gang at Railway quarters, police suspect that one of the accused, Ishaq, develop resentment against the victim as she had lodged a police complaint against him two months back for cheating.
According to a police officer, “The accused had allegedly cheated the victim promising to marry her a year ago. When she lodged a complaint with Chilkalguda police against him, he planned to take revenge,”. The victim is at present undergoing treatment at Gandhi hospital.
According to Doctors the woman is in critical condition. Meanwhile, the accused, including Ishaq, denied accusation s, saying that they were not near the Railway quarters when the incident occurred. They claim to be Innocent.
