Woman, paramour held for killing husband

Nalgonda, April 20:Devarakonda police on Tuesday took into custody a woman and her paramour for murdering her husband from the Mallepalli bus station, Devarakonda in Nalgonda district.

According to Inspector Sardar Singh, the police were tipped off that the two suspects were planning to get away by taking a bus. They rushed to the bus stop and arrested Hemalatha and Gurumurthi who have murdered Mosaiah (48) on April 14, 2011.

Mr Sardar Singh further revealed that Hemalatha and her lover Gurumurthi were planning to flee to Hyderabad after having killed Mosaiah.

Mosaiah had earlier objected to their relationship and had warned Hemalatha to mend her ways.

They were sent to judicial custody after being produced in court. (INN)
