New Delhi, October 16:A 27-year-old mother of two was found murdered in her rented house in north Delhi, police said Sunday.
Abha Gupta, a native of Bihar, was found with her throat slit in Jehangirpuri Saturday night. Nothing was stolen from the house and there was no ransacking, police said.
“The incident was reported around 11 p.m. Saturday when her husband, Naresh Gupta, returned home and found her lying in a pool of blood,” a police officer said.
Naresh Gupta is a street vendor. The couple’s two children are both below two years.
“The couple was living on the first floor and the landlord was living on the ground floor,” the officer added.
