A 22-year-old woman and her four-month-old baby were buried alive when their thatched house caved in during heavy downpour in Dirgho village in West Singhbhum district, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when the victim Komal Hembram’s husband Ramsingh Hembram had gone to market to buy
polythene sheet to cover the leaking roof, police said .
The mother and the infant, who were in the house, buried alive when it collapsed in the rain, sources said adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem today.
