Madurai:A 30-year old woman allegedly killed her two children by throwing them into a farm well before ending her life as she was upset over a petty quarrel with husband in nearby Tirumangalam, police said today.
Latha, a private firm worker, last night had an argument with her husband Vijayakumar over taking the family to their native place for Sivarathiri, they said.
Following the argument, Vijayakumar left the house in a huff, while Latha took her children Priyadarshini (5) and Tharun Kumar (18 months) to the farm well and threw them into it before drowning herself by leaping into the same.
Police retrieved the bodies with the help of fire and rescue services personnel today.
