In an appalling incident occurred in Tenali Town on Tuesday, a woman was murdered by her son-in-law. The accused Naga Raju arrived at a hotel when his wife and her mother were having breakfast after shopping at the vegetable market. He attacked his wife and mother-in-law with a sickle killing his mother-in-law on the spot while his wife Shravani escaped unhurt.
Naga Raju, a daily wager, married Shravani three years ago but she deserted him a few months later. He reportedly developed grudge against his mother-in-law as he was not allowing Shravani to live with him. Naga Raju decided to eliminate Nagendram and hacked her to death on Tuesday.
