Meerut, April 14: A woman judo player has accused a college principal and a teacher of slapping her in public here, police said today.
According to the complaint filed by the player, Ghulam Mohammad, the principal of Faiz-e-aam college and a teacher slapped her last evening when she was waiting outside the college to receive her brother, who was appearing in an examination, a senior police official said.
However, the principal rubbished the accusation and said he and his colleague were just trying to ward off a crowd that assembled outside the college premises during the examination.
