Rajahmundry, July 25: A woman delivered triplets in Tuni Mandal of East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh yesterday.M Lakshmi (25) of Pakayaraopet Mandal of Visakhapatnam district gave birth to the triplets in the mandal area hospital yesterday morning. They are two female babies one male baby, hospital sources said.
The normal weight of the babies should be three kgs each while these babies weigh of two kgs each, doctors said adding that the three babies are healthy.
“We will keep them in observation for three days,” the doctor added.Lakshmi”s husband M Sathibabu said that this was the third delivery for his wife. In first two deliveries, she gave birth to two male babies. “This time, we were expecting a female baby, but we have got two female babies and one male baby,” Sathibabu said happily.
